Mercy Movers offers eight distinct moving services out of our Washington, DC office. Pick the one that fits your situation, or call us and we’ll tell you which page to read — sometimes a job is half-residential, half-commercial, and the right answer is a custom flat rate from a walk-through.
Local & long-distance
- Local moving — across DC and the DMV, by the truckload, two- or three-mover crews, flat rate before we load. Hourly anchors: $169/hr for 2 movers + truck and $219/hr for 3 movers + truck, fully equipped.
- Long-distance moves we drive ourselves — out of DC up I-95 to New York, Philadelphia, Boston, or down to Richmond, the Carolinas, Atlanta, Miami and west to Chicago. Same crew, same truck, both ends.
By home type
- Rowhouse, townhouse & whole-home — three- and four-floor Capitol Hill, Logan, Shaw rowhomes with marble stoops, English basements and steep stairs.
- Apartment, condo & high-rise — Wharf and Navy Yard towers, Dupont and Adams Morgan walk-ups, COIs and freight elevators handled.
Packing & specialty
- Full-service packing & unpacking — paper, bubble, dish packs, wardrobes, custom crates.
- Piano, safe, embassy & specialty — uprights, baby grands, gun safes, marble tops, embassy-grade crating for art and antiques.
Storage & commercial
- Short-term & PCS storage — climate-controlled, vaulted, for federal PCS gaps, closing-date misses and renovations.
- Commercial, law firm & office — K Street, Penn Quarter and downtown DC offices, weekend and after-hours load-outs.
