Why we list routes individually
A move from DC to Baltimore is not the same job as a move from DC to Miami. The truck is different, the crew rotation is different, the transit window is different and the pricing is different. So we break our long-distance work out by corridor — each route page gives you bedroom-by-bedroom flat-rate bands and the realistic transit window for that lane.
Short hauls — same or next day
- DC to Baltimore MD — about 40 miles up I-95 / B-W Parkway.
- DC to Richmond VA — about 110 miles down I-95.
- DC to Philadelphia PA — about 140 miles up I-95.
Mid-range — one to two days
- DC to Virginia Beach VA — about 200 miles via I-64.
- DC to New York NY — about 225 miles up I-95.
- DC to Pittsburgh PA — about 245 miles via I-70 / I-76.
- DC to Raleigh NC — about 285 miles via I-95 / I-85.
Long hauls — two to three days
- DC to Charlotte NC — about 400 miles.
- DC to Boston MA — about 440 miles up I-95.
- DC to Atlanta GA — about 640 miles.
- DC to Chicago IL — about 700 miles via I-70 / I-65 / I-90.
- DC to Miami FL — about 1,060 miles down I-95.
How the route pricing works
Each route page lists a flat-rate band for a 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, 3-bedroom and 4-bedroom-plus load. Those bands are starting points — we tighten the actual flat rate after a walk-through.
